It is some 6 years since I presented my thoughts on Authentic Learning to a few different forums from a Middle School staff meeting to both National and International audiences.
Then in 2021, Somerville House offered a new course at the Year 7 level which combined Business and IT strands through a year long project to develop a Board Game (as per the suggestion in this presentation below). This proved really engaging for the students and saw some amazing and innovative ideas produced from many of the small teams across the whole cohort.
